Questions & Answers

When will the wallet be available for download?
We do not have a fixed public release date yet. The current focus is on stabilizing the AML engine and security-auditing the key management layer. Beta testers will receive access first, well before any public release.
Does EBT Consulting hold my funds or keys?
No. EBT Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Your private keys and seed phrase are generated and stored exclusively on your device using industry-standard BIP-39/44 derivation. We have no technical ability to access your funds.
Will the AML screening affect transaction speed?
In our prototype tests, the full AML screening pipeline completes in under 800 ms for most addresses. The network broadcast only happens after clearance, adding minimal latency compared to typical block confirmation times.
What happens if my transaction is flagged?
During the beta, flagged transactions will not be broadcast. You will see the risk score breakdown and the specific reason for the flag. We are building a review flow that will allow users to dispute or contextualise borderline results.
Is EBT Consulting a regulated company?
Yes. EBT Consulting LLC is registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FinCEN (ID: 31000267366954) and holds Washington State License 550-MT-145975. We are committed to full regulatory compliance.
Do I need to complete KYC to participate in the beta?
For the prototype testing phase, no formal KYC is required. We simply ask for your contact information and a brief description of your crypto experience level to help us prioritise applications.
